Round seven of this year's British Saloon Car Championship came to Donington last weekend and once again it became clear that to succeed you need a turbo.
Graham Goode almost threatened overall victory in his Nissan Bluebird Turbo, Richard Longman went well in his Escort Turbo, Brodie took fastest lap in his Colt Starion Turbo, oh yes, and Andy Rouse won again in the Sierra Turbo...
Most competitors were troubled by tyres and brakes on a circuit which is traditionally hard on both with its magnitude of slow corners but at the end of the day it was the same faces filling the same positions throughout the field. (MN)
