Pictures

In the small Group 1 race, Benedetti’s Fiat 127 beat all the Autobianchis - but after July 1 the Abarth would be homologated. The other Group 1 race was a fight between Tamburini and Pezzoli; the latter was leading until four laps from the end when he dropped to third, leaving an excellent second overall for the Simca Rallye of Riccitelli.

The Group 3 race the lonely Alpine of “King” beat all the Lancias, but there were protests after the race.
The 600 cc two cylinder cars were the last for the morning programme; “Yankee” took the lead ahead of “Piero” and “Tibeli” but “Tibeli” soon took over until he spun. Victory for “Yankee” and a retirement for “Piero”.

After the pause, the first race of the afternoon was for Group 2 1000 and 1150. After a great start Santucci took the lead, followed by Amighini and Pasolini, and kept it to the finish. In the 1000 cc class Amighini won, while the next race saw victories for Valerio and "York " after Mazzeschi was forced to retire.

Then the little ones took the start, “Baronio” beating Drovandi, then the penultimate race was for 1300 and 1600 cc Group 2.
Grilli had an excellent start with his Fiat coupé and was followed by "Society", Squillace and Chiaramonte. Then Society with the Alfa GTA took the lead but was forced to retire in lap eight. Grilli won, helped by the fact that Squillace was forced to slow down. The 1600 class was won by Ricciardo Ricci.
The last race was a disappointment; Claudio Francisci with an Angelini-prepared Alfa GTAm won, followed by the big Opel of Angelo Bonaccorsi and the Escort of Ruoso .
