Division 1
Three matadors with three little grey Italian cars were the centre of the attraction of the Division 1 race. Outbraking, smoke from the tires, body-to-body contact - it happened from beginning till the end.
Hezemans had been fastest in practice, followed by Swart and Mantzel. Swart took the lead, but Mantzel took over. Then Swart took over again in lap 8. Hezemans led in lap 14. The fight continued, until race director Zwart waved his finger at the trio - they had been a little too enthusiastic. In the end, Mantzel won in front of Swart and Hezemans - the first three finished within 1,2 seconds.

Division 2
Equal fastest in practice had been Whitmore and Bussinello; but on race day it rained and while Whitmore managed to take the lead after the start, with Slotemaker second. After two laps the order was Whitmore, Galli, Gardner, de Adamich and Slotemaker - but then de Adamich discovered that the best line was on the outside of a wet track. He passed Whitmore easily and finished first. Galli managed to get ahead of the Alan Mann duo and finished second.

Division 3
An anticlimax: only 12 cars entered, under which a brand new BMW 2000 from Koster in showroom condition. It was withdrawn after 2 laps. Hahne led from start to finish, initially followed by Koster in the RTH BMW. But first he broke the throttle linkage, then the engine expired. Gautot in the Mustang, still in long-distance version, closed but dropped back near the end, after setting fastest lap.
