Nürburgring 300 km (DRP)

Peter Hennige brought his Zakspeed Escort here; on the right - that's a 300 mm lens if not more; what are you doing with that in the paddock?
Ringshausen's awesome 1600 cc Escort II. Rolf Ströbl leading probably Siekmann and Jochen Schramm's Simca.
A part from the 1150 cc field. The first of the Simca's is Lüsser, the Jägermeister car is Sander, though Weber is in the entry list. At the rear is Steinert's unique 1150 BDA Escort.
On the right Bergmeister fighting with Ringshausen, on the left he is all by himself - but sans front spoiler... Ringshausen would win the class, Bergmeister finishing third.
A Golf (Peter Valder) battling with a Group 3 Carrera, possibly Matthias Lörper. Dahlhaüser finished second in class.
Wolfgang Wolf in the Spiess Scirocco, he probably retired. Picture taken from 8mm movie.
Another Scirocco: I guess Mohr in the Menden-Scirocco.
Daiber in the BMW 1602, he finished 6th in class.
Dieter Schulz in the Nothelle Golf.
2-litre cars: favourite Hennige retired... ... just like Schall...
... and Bonefeld. But there were some BMW's left to claim the victory. Ahead is Pennartz.
Reiner Blanke, 15th in class.
Kuhlmann, class winner.
Here are some two-litre cars - en do we spot a Castrol-sponsored Capri in the background? In front, two VW-Porsches, probably Manfred Renz followed by Klaus Erie.
Here is Römer in he Carrera RSR.
Opperman was too quick here. Yes, there was a Capri too; a far cry from the 1971-1975 era, but still: Krumbach, 7th in class.
Group 1 action: Hackner, Commodore, second behind team leader Weisheidinger. Jabs in the Berkenkamp Escort - but might be Selzer in disguise?
Some more pictures. This is Karl Pathe in the Simca Rallye 1, 8th in class.
Klaus Schulz, Austin Mini Cooper S, probably DNF.
Dalemans, NSU 1000 TTS, 6th in class.
Hunsdieck, Autobianchi, 6th in class.
