Shocking Blue - 1972 index

With unchanged class divisions once again, the 1972 BSCC set off again.
Brian Muir had changed his Camaro for a works Capri, one of the two 1972 cars built by the works for private custmers - the other one went to Belgium. Gardner retained his SCA Camaro, and that sums up the frontrunners in class D. The RS1600 Escort was the car to have in class C with Martthews clearly the fastest of the bunch; the Mini was revived in class B, where Buncombe beat the Escorts five times. But once again the Sunbeam of McGovern clunched the championship, winning his class in every race.
